I started the Team at ULM three years ago and Now our women's team is number three in the nation. Lots of recruiting on campus,,, Cheerleading squad believe it or not, if they can lift each other they can lift weights , i was one for 7 years. A lot of flyers on campus, school paper, let it be know you are on campus. Do go threw the school so you can recieve money and a place to work out, if you are lucky, we were not, i pulled some strings and we work out at a local High school , whom has a very nice weight room. The more poeple you have the more money you can generate. Remeber not everybody makes it to Nationals.

Your Grades will slip a little because you do have to put a lot of time into not just the TEAM but getting the team ready by fundraising , putting practices together and many other things that pop up. Not everybody is as smart as you think they are;)

You will have headaches, but at the end it is all worth it when your team is holding a trophy or when one of your lifters goes from nothing to nationly ranked.
