gyms in general irritate me:

because they're focused on "appearances", which is fine-if your sole motivation in life is to get your testicles massaged.

But calling these guys "fitness" trainers is ridiculous because most of them don't know "squat" about fitness(athletic performance) much less strength.

I know more about strength than half of these guys just by known progressive overload and the principle of "practice", much less all the other stuff that's been tried over the years.

they work to make people "look" better. Again it's fine but for most of these guys to parade around like they know about conditioning or strength training is a total and complete joke.
