I rememebr when Arcide and Frantz both jumped me in the elevator at the Dolphin Hotel at the My O where we (AC and I) were guests of Joe Weider (who paid for us to come out).
It seems that they were pissed at some remark or comment I made about how Ted was given a 715 record simple due that he was unable to straighten his arms out! Ted felt like he should have a pass for this handicap...I said that he should start lifting in Handicap meets then.
We were given VIP passes and all the perks for a week in Orlando! WOW...pretty fun. Lee Haney won which my picture was in PLUSA that month. Got to meet all the old timers..Lee Labrada, Rich Gaspari Mike Matzzarno, blah blah blah.
Anyway the Ball room was big and held maybe 4000 the Mr.O stage was about 8 ft high and the bench off was to be staged during intermission. I am not lying about this, the crowd was the biggest when the bench off was set. We came out on stage and it was packed and there was more interest in this bench than the BB show.
Towards the end the BBer's were bitching about how this is a BB show and not a Power meet. After Lee was crowned Mr O For the last last time, I walked down to the front row and was standing next to this black guy and he was a little shorter than me and while everyone was clapping, this guys elbow kept hitting me and I looked and saw what were the biggest biceps I ever saw. I said to him what does he do for arms and he said nothing, they just grow!
You would never guess who this guy was.
