Thumbless Grip?... *LINK* *PIC*

I feel bad for his family, friends, and teammates. 240 Lbs. doesn't seem extremely heavy for a healthy young man, that is, you'd think he would have simply not gotten it off his chest, and had to roll it to his waist.

If I had to guess, I would suspect he was using the Thumbless Grip, and the bar did a "freefall."

My philosophy is:

1)Always have a Spotter,

2)Never use the Thumbless Grip.
