My pleasure, and it was an honor to be there for such a historic event. You know, if you strip away the glitz and the glamor ( and expense) of the Arnold, the "hot card girls", 50 different sports that frankly, few care about( outside of Olympic Lifting and MMA),Claustrophobia-inducing Exhibition Hall, etc and what you have was the very best part of the Arnold and why most of us even bother to make the annual trek to Columbus every year- to watch the BEST of the VERY BEST lifting against each other . My daughter and I were sitting next to Shawn Frankl and Rick Hussey and it was great just shooting the breeze with them, as well as watching the greatest of the great lift some absolutely awesome weights, one after the other. I was so upset when Spud went down,I cannot imagine the pain he must have been in with such a mega weight. Again, here's to his recovery.Perhaps the thing that impressed me the best was that the lifters were there to lift, have fun and yes, make some money. Tons of bombers, but those guys were the consummate sportsmen , who took their bomb outs in style without any histrionics, which I have seen before in the so called bigger federations. We have the opportunity, all of us to create something special for the next series of meets, I wish you guys luck and if there is anything that I can do to help please do not hesitate to contact me at rfern2000@aol.com
