I believe I can comfortably speak for the thousands of powerlifters the world over who have sweated, strained,spent their hard earned dollars, and suffered to compete in the sport they love when I reply to your statement with the following:

ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR DAMN MIND?

So, anyone can total 2k by putting on some gear eh? Anyone? Some of the top Olympic guys NOW from any country like the Dolega Brothers, Kolecki, etc couldn't do it without serious training. Scerbatis of Latvia, my bet to win the SHW could barely do this as well, never mind keep up with the top Supers of today like Bolton, Thompson, etc.Guys spend their lifetime getting to this, and btw this total is ELITE for the 275 class in the APF. so I repeat

So before you insult our sport, keep your asinine comments to yourself, and no cut to your grandmother, but she would have an easier time in table tennis ( played at a lot of nursing homes) instead of powerlifting . Powerlifting belongs and deserves to be in the Olympics. Why, is another ( Long ) topic.
