Just wanted to say thanks to the individuals and companies who have donated prizes so far for the meets for the soldiers here. There are nine who have, and a few who are in the process, of sending items. The first "big" one, a deadlift only meet, will be on Nov 14th. We had a bench only that hauled in 16, which was more than twice as good as the average 5-7 they had before we got this going. I am hoping for 25 for this dl meet. Multiple people have made statements along the lines of "now I have something to focus on" in the desert. Time goes by very slowly when you don't have that something.

I will be trying to get the deadlift meet into PLUSA and a big thank you to the donators. There are still a couple more who are sending some items, so I don't want to leave anybody out.
