Strength better than powerlifting with its odd implements than powerlifing with its balanced barbells and plates?
This is a question that I wonder about.
I also think that there's something to be said for bodyweight strong people: gymnasts and fighters. Every time I do hand stand pushups or pullups I get a newfound respect for gymnasts!!!!
I tried doing a "pistol" and it about killed me! (its a type of one legged squat)
