Thats a good point. But a lifter is not going to win a real championship, with out some huge numbers. For example, Pat Casey, was the first man to bench 600, Arcdi was the first to becnch 700, Anthony Clark was the first to do 800. We all know this to be facts. But how many guys know how many championships these guys won, or what meet the lifts was done at ? Numbers do last forever, in the era, or year they were done in. For example Kazmier held the records in the deadlift, total and bench for years, nobody can ever take that from him. No matter what the records are today.
