I remember when I first got into lifting I saw the top 100's and thought "wow these guys in the APF are so freaking strong...why don't they go take the IPF worlds. Hmmm why are their deadlifts so low?"
Young and stupid
LAter I found out about the gear differences and the monolifts.
I guess at least one can look at coan's number of championships and get a good idea about his greatness:)
