First of all let me say that you guys at Air Force do a hellava job with your athletes.. I think your squad may have more 300 cleaners then anyone else in the country if my memory serves me well from results I have seen in the past. I do completely understand your problem with the straps. I to had the same problems at East Carolina 20+ years ago when we had ove 40 athletes clean 300 and 4 do 400. What we did was, we had the straps set up at each platform (7 platforms then) and the players would use them as that went from station to station. When one group would finished the straps were left at the pulling stations. During testing we always had a huge contest and the athletes were rewarded for their efforts if they made a certain % over their previous MAX. I am sure that you all do something like this. The reward could be several different ways to honor them as standouts!! These were some of the best times of my life when I had the opportunity to train skilled athletes all the time. Now my passion is to build the self esteem of young people and maybe send them to the Air Force or some other quality institution!! All the best to you Buck, keep up the good work you do in keeping the Air Force Acd. competitive with schools that don't have such high standards.
