And, what is very interesting to me is that a few of those records listed in 1967, were made back in 50's. Kono's C&J in the MIDDLEWEIGHT CLASS was made in 1953, for godsake !!! Come one was that Kono that good !!!! YES !!!! And.... Vinci's C&J in 1956 and Berger's Snatch in 1958......these guys at the top in the world and no one could good better there lifts in the USA for a long time. And, how about that SPLIT SNATCH of 325 by Reicke in the lightheavy class !!! Still a classic lift.

And how about 3 different names in the heavyweight class...Gubner, Schmanski & Bednarski.....still big lifts today.

Kono's, Vinci's & Berger's still are top lifts in USA NATIONAL competition.

Imagine these guys, with their same heart and mental attitude training today...what they would lift !!!
