Dear Don:

I appreciate your vote of confidence.

I applied, as I have several asked me to consider it and I hold the credentials necessary (3 degrees including MBA), sports marketing and administration (Weightlifting and other sports experience), proven in fundraising and promoting the sport, and I am a Weightlifter and referee (so I can relate to our membership). Lastly, I can and have worked with Boards of Directors and can ask the tough questions of executives on all levels.

While there are areas I do not know yet, I learn quickly also and have proven that time and again. I do not know if and when I will hear regarding the position. When I do, I will let you know.
