It's neat that you guys are lifting weights don't let others discourage you some people are just naturally stronger than others. Some of us have to work really hard to become strong. A little about me, I am 15 I stand 5'5" tall and I weigh 116lbs now. This past year I won 7 World Championships in 5 different federations, I am the first athlete in our sport to accomplish this goal. My best contest lifts are squat 264.5lbs, benchpress 159lbs and deadlift 269lbs. At the time I did these lifts I weighed under 114lbs. I have moved up to the 123lb class because I own all the World Records in the 114's and now I am going after the 123lb records. Since I have stopped the restriction of calories to stay at 114lb class my strength has gone up. My best gym squat is 355lbs, my bench is 185lbs and I am not sure about my deadlift as I do not train it that often but I would bet it has gone up 15-20lbs now. I have been training hard for 7 years now and I love it more now than when I started. I contribute my success to my coach he's also my dad with the knowledge he has passed on to me about training and diet and the value of rest and good sleep. I am very disciplined and I do not cheat on my diet but on special occasions but then it's back to my goal of being the best I can be! I hope this helps a little. Do not worry about what others lift focus on your own goals and you will succeed.
stay strong and peace,
