In Response To: Declines: your opinion (Doug P.)

I assume if you are asking about "Heavy Declines" that you currently do decline bench??????????? I really see very few people do decline at the gym I go to. I used to do it way back when, normally was able to lift the same on decline as I did on flat, but because I'm short, hard for me to do without a spot. I'm honestly not sure if your asking how heavy you should go or how many reps, etc. as your question is unclear to me but as long as you warm up with lighter weights as you should do with any exercise in my opinion, I don't see a problem with using heavy weights on decline just like you would any other exercise and use good form, although I hope you use a spot when you go heavy, especially on decline since it is an awkward exercise to me! If you have been working out for a while, you know what your body can handle safely! Just always be careful!
God Bless!
